Instagram New Policy; Putting an End on Vaping, Guns, or Cigarettes Promotion

Just came in yesterday in its announcement of the new rules; Branded content that promotes goods such as vaping, tobacco products and weapons will not be allowed. Our advertising policies have long prohibited the advertisement of these products, and we will begin enforcement on this in the coming weeks.

Owh Snap! That’s indeed bad news for anyone who tends to promote all the above or especially their core business relying on it, or it won’t be that bad but rather just demonetized like how Youtube currently enforcing.

Here are the few influencers that will be most probably get impacted by this new policies;

Manuel Urzua, 24-year-old Vape Influencers with more than 35,000 followers. Urzua started smoking cigarettes at 15, then took to vaping at 18 to wean himself off of cigs. Not long after, he fell into a lucrative gig as a vape promoter and trickster.

Matt Carriker, now that’s an extensive big number of followers! With more than 1million! Famously known for his #demolitia started off with YouTube channels with all the shootout on his gun collection. But safe to say, he could still be surviving as he has a few channels under his belt.
